MUMS AND BUMS AND TUMS voted WEST HERTFORDSHIRE'S favourite adult class!

The Mums and Bums and Tums class in St Albans scooped one of the top awards in the Classes For You competition, run by Britain’s biggest parenting site Netmums.

The UK-wide competition was launched as a chance for people running adult classes to be recognized for their hard work serving and improving the local community.

Over 1.7 million members were eligible to vote in the competition.

Class organiser Lynn Redshaw was delighted to be crowned a local favourite. The St Albans specialist postnatal fitness instructor and mum of one, set up the class in partnership with The Alban Way Children's Centres, after discovering how difficult it was to find a relaxed postnatal class, where you knew all the exercises were safe to do and you could bring your baby along too!

Beaming Lynn said: “I am thrilled to have won the award and delighted that so many local mums voted for us. It is such a friendly class, with plenty of time to chat over a cup of tea afterwards. I love to teach it and I am busy researching new venues and days to offer more opportunity for new mums to get fit."   

The Mums and Bums and Tums class will now be honoured with a coveted gold listing on the Netmums site, used by over a million people each week, along with a special ‘Netmums Favourite’ certificate to display in their class.
